Food Photography, Presentation of food and prices for menus

My Ideas:

I would like to produce a 3 page booklet on Food made in a restaurant covering the types of food the restaurant specialise in or sell and to showcase their presentation of gourmet style food.  The idea comes from work I have done before with food photography and I really liked the colours in the images and you can play about with depth of field in the image and get good contrast.

It would be a simple layout with not to much detail showing the restaurants name with their opening times and contact details. I would then have the menu laid out simple to read with the restaurant shop front on the main page with the following 2 pages covering their menu with a descriptive price list and good clear imagery of the food described.

I have looked various restaurants in Liverpool at their on line menu's and I have collected menu's that you can take away with you.

They are clearly set out in order for you to follow the menu simply with not to much detail and this is something I would like to have a go a producing myself for this project.

Here are some links to on line Liverpool resturant menu's http://www.individualrestaurants.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Estate-main-AUTUMN.pdf

Many of the on line menus use PDF and this is what I will be using to create my booklet so Its good to see from these sites what can be produced.  I would like to speak to the college restaurant and gain their permission to take photographs of the food that they produce for my theme and hope to complete my images by the 10th November so that I can start to look at my text and layout of the booklet. I need to choose a font style and size and arrange my menu in order so that it is clear to the customer.

Here I have some images I have taken previously of food photography and I would like something similar to this style.
