Dear Mr Lavin,
I am currently studying BA Hons in Photography at St Helens college and I have a project that I am working on at the moment related to your industry.
I am producing a 5 page booklet/menu as part of one of my modules on the course. I have chosen to create a booklet based on food combined with a menu and restaurant details provided within the information booklet itself.
Last year while I was on the B-Tec with Bill Atterton I was given the opportunity to photograph some of the food you serve in your Colours restaurant and I was impressed with the outcome of my images and the standard of your food and presentation.
I would like your permission again to come and take some more images of food that is just about to be served straight from the kitchen so that I can use the images to produce my booklet? I will off course keep in line with the menu that you already have however I will just amend the colours and fonts as part of my module.
The booklet once produced will only been shared with my tutor and class for grading purposes and not to the public.
If you could let me know as soon as possible if you would be happy for me to attend the restaurant one evening so that I could get around 10 images off different meals & deserts I would really appreciate it.
